Technology for All: MMX Solutions and Artivo Education Join Hands to Support B40 Students Through Laptop Donations

MMX Solutions supports digital learning by donating 30 laptops to Artivo Education for students from B40 families.

MMX Solutions and Artivo Education laptop donation initiative

MMX Solutions Sdn Bhd (MAXRENTAL) was invited to participate in a charity program organized by Artivo Education, as part of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) through laptop donations to support B40 students in learning digital arts and skills. It is the first official collaboration between the two organizations. The initiative builds on the longstanding business relationship, with Artivo having been a customer of MMX Solutions for many years.

The laptops were handed over during Little Hearts of Tomorrow 2026, a charity art exhibition organized by Artivo at Menara KEN, TTDI, Kuala Lumpur, in August 2026. Through this contribution, MMX Solutions aims to provide students with better access to computers and support their participation in digital learning activities.

MMX Solutions Donates 30 Laptops to Support B40 Students

The laptop donation was made to Artivo Education for educational purposes, particularly to support students from B40 families who may have limited access to suitable learning equipment. As technology becomes more widely used in education, computers are increasingly important for students to develop practical digital skills and participate in creative learning activities.

Raymond Tiew, Director of MMX Solutions, attended the charity exhibition and presented the laptops to Artivo during the grand opening of Little Hearts of Tomorrow 2026. The handover was also highlighted in news reports covering the event, including Bernama, Kosmo! and The Stail.

The contribution is intended to support Artivo’s educational activities by making computer-based learning tools more accessible to underprivileged students.

Little Hearts of Tomorrow 2026 Brings Children Together Through Art

The Little Hearts of Tomorrow 2026 charity art exhibition brought together approximately 1,500 children from different parts of Malaysia, including Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Penang, Negeri Sembilan and Perak. Held at Menara KEN, TTDI, the exhibition displayed children’s artwork inspired by Visit Malaysia 2026. Through their paintings, the young participants explored Malaysia’s culture, nature, history and diversity while helping to raise funds for children in need.

The event followed Artivo’s “children helping children” concept, an idea promoted by Datin Ainsley Tiew Lee Sin, Artivo’s Managing Director, to encourage young artists to practice kindness, generosity and sharing through charitable activities. Since 2018, the initiative has involved more than 5,000 young artists and raised over RM870,000 for charitable causes.

Funds raised have directly supported underprivileged children, including children with illnesses, children with special needs, and families facing financial difficulties. The 2026 exhibition continued this effort, with part of the proceeds channeled through Dreams Series to support children and families in need.

A Longstanding MMX–Artivo Relationship Leads to Their First Donation Collaboration

The collaboration between MMX Solutions and Artivo Education began with an established business relationship that has continued for many years. As a longstanding customer of MMX Solutions, Artivo had already developed a working relationship with the company before both organizations came together for this collaboration initiative.

Their first donation collaboration in 2026 marks a new chapter in that relationship, extending their connection beyond business activities to support a shared community cause. It also shows how long-term relationships between organizations can create opportunities to work together and contribute to the wider community.

Supporting Digital Arts and Skills Learning Through Better Access to Technology

Digital tools have become an important part of creative education, allowing students to explore different forms of art, design, and computer-based learning. For children who lack access to suitable devices, learning and practicing these skills can be more challenging.

The donated laptops are intended to help address this need by providing additional equipment for students participating in Artivo’s digital arts and skills activities. With access to computers, students can explore new creative methods, become more familiar with digital applications, and develop skills that complement traditional art education.

Artivo Education: Developing Creativity and Character Through Arts

Artivo Education, also known as ARTIVO School of Creativity, is a Malaysian art education provider that focuses on developing children’s creativity and character through arts-based learning. Founded by Datin Ainsley Tiew Lee Sin, Artivo was established with the aim of making art education more than just drawing and painting lessons. Its approach combines creative activities with character development, encouraging children to learn important values alongside artistic skills.

Through its Art-to-Character educational approach, Artivo aims to nurture children who are creative, compassionate, and responsible. Its programs use art as a way for children to express themselves, explore ideas, and develop positive attitudes towards learning and others. Artivo also offers digital design education, reflecting its efforts to introduce different forms of creative learning.

This educational approach connects with MMX Solutions’ laptop contribution, which is intended to provide additional resources for students to explore creativity through technology.
